A statue of Murphy is displayed outside the museum, and various memorabilia that belonged to Murphy can be found displayed inside.
Another interesting place to see in Greenville is the Heritage Garden of Hunt County. This garden was an initiative by Texas A&M University to help residents better understand what plants can thrive in Greenville. Created by volunteers from a vacant lot, the garden now serves as a way destination point for the community to enjoy beautiful scenery. Visitors can also learn about gardening techniques such as composting and water conservation.
